About Shea Sinclair
Bio
Shea Sinclair is an artist and designer from Bridgeport Connecticut; she has received a Bachelors degree in Art and Design from Sacred Heart University. Her work has been exhibited in Connecticut and New York, including at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has received multiple awards, and her work was most recently reviewed by Lucy Gillman of The Arts Council of Greater New Haven. Shea has focused her studies on painting, printmaking, and digital design with a cinematic style that combines the raw and gritty look of grunge with ominous vibes. Her posters and drawings embrace traditional methods while also incorporating the digital world.
Studio Practice
Shea operates a fully equipped design studio that supports projects from initial concept through final production. The studio features large-format printers, dedicated production stations, high-performance workstation computers, and professional drafting equipment, providing the technical capacity to execute both digital and analog workflows with precision.
The practice combines technical rigor with a collaborative, design-led approach. Shea manages every stage of the process in-house proofing, color management, prototyping, and final output, ensuring consistent quality and tight control over timelines. This setup enables rapid iteration, bespoke fabrication, and seamless integration of print, digital, and material explorations.
